So I have moved into my new home now and I will be ready to start the build of my fish room.

I have my brother comming over next week to set up all the electrical so I will have no problem with power. Being safe and all will be GFI. The lighting right now is bad so no pics of where the room is going.

Right now I have a 20gh, anyone with extra tanks under 55g let me know.

Sounds good Zach.

I just placed an order for the hanna cal checker. It will aeive in the next week. I'll be trying to find time to swing over to aquatic creations to see what stuff they have.

I'm trying to figure out what protine skimmer I want and lighting. What do some of you recommend as I've been away for 3+ years. Trying to keep it under $200 for the skimmer and $200 per light module.

Thank you for any help and input

For the latest news on the build. I've ordered a glass drilling kit with 5 different drill bit sizes from 3/4" to 1 1/2". I also ordered a few bulkeds in different sizes too.

This past week I found a house with meany old used tanks at the side of the road for the taking. I got 2 29g, 2 20 longs and 2 10g tanks. I will be using these for sumps and quarentine tanks. Still no stands or electrical power still. Still working on a layout plan and what size custom tank I will build. Pics comming soon

Today I got the bukheads and the drill bits but they sent the wrong drill bits. My biggest one is hardly a inch so I'm going to head to Lowe's and get a 1 1/2 inch bit. Also thinking of changing the location of where the fish room will be placed in the basement. Looking for someone in the Rochester area to stop by and give an input as I have duct work right in the way of where I want to put it. I'm spending a lot of time ducking or bent over so I don't hit my head. On only 5'7"
